Following intrepid adventurers Ben Fogle and Dwayne Fields as they journey to Antarctica to relive the trials and tribulations of the deadly Race to the Pole at the beginning of the 20th Century.

1. The Discovery Expedition 1901-190460m · Ben and Dwayne Fields land in Antarctica and transition from modern polar explorers into their historical clothes and take on the mantle of their Edwardian forebears.
2. The Nimrod Expedition 1907 - 190960m · Following Shackleton's example, Ben and Dwayne embark on a daunting ice mountain challenge to try to reach the barren Polar Plateau, as temperatures sink to a mind-numbing -40C.
3. Terra Nova Expedition 1910-191360m · Ben and Dwayne follow Scott's next attempt to claim the pole. Scott's dream is shattered when Norwegian Roald Amundsen beats him, and his team face the gruelling attempt to return home.
