Readings from history books, monologues from a fictional tour guide, and personal home movies are paired with interviews relating to the Colonial Era, the Slave Trade, the American Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, Indigenous Cultures, the Abolitionist Movement, Organized Crime, Urban Planning, Capitalism, Baseball, Ancient Geology, and Apple Pie. The film is presented as a climbing film from Tirol's mountain world based on an idea by Kurt Maix, and it's a touristical film of the series 'Bilder aus Österreich' (Pictures of Austria). A man and a woman leave the city to go to the mountains of the Austrian Tirol to make some rock climbing. They spend one night at a mountain hut and next morning they walk up to the base of the wall and start climbing. The couple, with the man always leading, overcome a series of difficult passages and reach the summit. There they sign in the book of ascents with the names of Peter Martin and Lial, and start the descent doing several rappels.

Rhode Island slashed its public transportation budget in September, leaving bus riders struggling as they attempt to get to work, school, doctor appointments, and visit their children. Community members already struggling to make ends meet have been forced to wake before dawn just to make it to work. Others are now spending money they don’t have on private rides. Still more are standing for over an hour on crowded buses, worried about sickness and tired from the rest of their commute. As the freezing temperatures approach, concerns are rising. RIPTA advocates will present their case to lawmakers in January and until then, these bus riders have been left out to dry on the unforgiving streets of Rhode Island.
