A month has passed since both the Kyowakai and Marugami-kai lost their leaders, yet silence reigns between the two syndicates. With Chairman Mita (Shun Sugata) gone, the Marugami-kai remains leaderless, while the Kyowakai reels not only from the loss of Kawatani (Hitoshi Ozawa), but also from Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya) and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi), both lying in critical condition.
