Eloy - The Legacy Box
★ 8 · 2010 · 110m · Music
A magnificent package to mark the 40th anniversary of Eloy. This is a true representation of how influential the efforts of a band's fan base can ultimately become. Not only has this abiding enthusiasm of the friends of the German progressive rock band Eloy led to remastered editions of 'Ra', 'Destination', 'The Tides Return Forever' and 'Chronicles' being made available recently (and including previously unreleased pictures and new liner notes from Frank Bornemann) but also to a band reunion and the release of a new album - 'Visionary'- (the band's first for eleven years, and one that captures so much of their abiding musical legacy) at the beginning of their 40th anniversary year

2012
"The Budapest concert was the opener for Tangerine Dream's Electric Mandarine Tour on 10th April 2012. The most modern national concert hall in Hungary, the Béla Bartók Hall was packed with a wonderful international audience. A fantastic acoustic and great stage setting made this gig an unforgettable event. Filmed and recorded by a Hungarian Broadcast team, we now can offer you a DVD [...] and a triple CD version of the concert. The loyal fans of Hungary and people who traveled from all over Europe to see the opening show of the band have given this concert some extraordinary support. Even those of you who couldn't attend, will dive within a few minutes into this hard to define TD concert atmosphere. Enjoy yourself and follow the band during a 3 hours set in the Hungarian capital, the beautiful city of Budapest."

Tangerine Dream - Orange Odyssey
2007 · ★ 8
"The Orange Odyssey DVD is the complete live set TD performed Open Air on July 1st for the Inauguration Ceremony of the Paul Wunderlich Museum in Eberswalde near Berlin. You'll see TD full of passion, strength and lady power. The very interesting merging of music, generic lights and full laser program has made this performance to a quite outstanding experience for those who could attend the concert. Especially for TD's diehard brigade it's a meal deluxe and hardly comparable to other moving pics from orange dreamland. Did you ever hear about the effectiveness of acoustic amphetamines -- here you have it!"
