The Last Maneater: Killer Tigers of India
2003 · ★ 8
Sunderbans (Forest of Beauty) is in West Bengal, India, and is the only place on Earth that is the natural habitat of Royal Bengal Tigers that have never known to be fearful of humans. One tiger has been known to kill three fully grown men, leaving behind orphans and widows who belong to poor tribes, dependent on harvesting wild honey and fishing, in a swampy mangrove region. About 80 people are killed annually by these ferocious beasts with razor-sharp jaws, whose forepaws can shatter bones, and sharp teeth can pierce a skull in one bite. Amidst religious superstitions, the narrator attempts to explain the cause behind their taste for human meat in a region devoid of electricity, roadways, firearms and safe drinking water, and why the villagers continue to live there despite of being stalked and mauled on land and water alike.

Years later, Lynch saw one of Richard's documentaries on the founder of Transcendental Meditation, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and asked him to come to India to document a journey he was making tracing Maharishi's footsteps from one end of India to the other. Did Roman Emperors create Christianity? Researchers and scholars James S. Valliant and Warren Fahy take us on a journey, piecing together various physical archaeological artifacts that link the ruling Roman elites of the first century to the first Christians - a link which remained hidden till now. They then reveal the secret ways Christianity was used by subsequent rulers to ensure the religion survived and thrived into modern times. Based on their book of the same name, the Creating Christ documentary reveals this secret conspiracy which began as a way to end the great conflict between Jews and Rome, and ended up changing the course of history, still being in use to this very day. With additional supportive research from scholars Dr. Robert Price, Professor Robert Eisenman, and Acharya Sanning / D.M. Murdock, this documentary adds even greater validity to the thesis that Rome created the New Testament.
