Kabukicho's delicate balance is maintained by four powerful figures known as the "Four Devas," who keep each other's influence in check. Among them is Otose, the "Empress" of the district. Despite having no real power herself, the sole reason she retains her position as one of the Four Devas and can contend with rival factions... is the presence of Kabukicho's strongest man—Sakata Gintoki—by her side. Then, a young woman approaches Gintoki, asking to become an apprentice at Yorozuya. Unbeknownst to him, she is Tsubaki Hirako, formerly of the Uekibachi Family and infamouslyknown as "Killer Hirako." Now, as Jirochou schemes to dominate Kabukicho, Otose becomes a target. Gintoki is given anultimatum: Join the Jirochou Family to save her, or refuse and watch Otose be attacked—while hehimself is marked for death.

It was created by Saburo Yatsude (a pseudonym referring to a committee within Toei Company) and directed by Tadao Nagahama. Voltes V is the second part of the Robot Romance Trilogy of the Super Robot genre which includes Chōdenji Robo Combattler V and Tōshō Daimos. Like Combattler V, the series was animated by Sunrise and produced by Toei Company. The series was animated by Sunrise on Toei's behalf. This super robot along with the other two aforementioned super robots first appeared the USA as a part of Mattel's Shogun Warriors line of import toys, released in the late 1970s.

Uncle and nephews take turns dancing the jitterbug with her while trying to get rid of each other. In their final effort the three younger Ducks feed their uncle maize in the process of becoming popcorn. The process is completed within Donald himself who continues to move wildly around the house while maintaining the appearance of dancing. The short ends with an impressed Daisy showering her new lover with kisses
