Suite for Freedom

A trio of short films commissioned to be shown to visitors entering the National Freedom Center in Cincinnati Ohio. Freedom and Unfreedom by Aleksandra Korejwo uses sand animation. Slavery by Caroline Leaf shows the hardship of the life of a house slave in the American South before the Civil War, telling the events in one day in her life. The Underground Railroad by Luc Perez is the final film in the trilogy.

He made a quick career to the customs minister, robbing all foreigners to the skin right at the border crossing. However, the princess's unrequited feelings led to the end of his career, and he was abandoned in the forest. After eating wonderful apples, he develops a plan of revenge.

At midnight, two elves help a pair of shoemakers in distress by making shoes. They make it a condition that they are not watched. When the cobblers do it anyway and then send them the matching clothes, they stop working but continue to help the cobblers.

The Little Jackal and the Little Camel
1956
Little Jackal asks Little Camel to transport him across the river. He promises to treat him with sugarcane and then deceives him. Little Camel wishes to teach the sly fellow a good lesson, but at the last minute he rescues the Jackal from the Crocodile. Later he refuses to be friends with Little Jackal anyway.

An artist looks back on his younger years at the Chongqing Art Academy in the turbulent 1990s. The selection and demands used to be killing. He was close friends with two boys and a girl. They fought with local youngsters and tried to give each other pep talks. Parallels with the childhood years of his parents, during the Cultural Revolution, also show violence and gun battles. Semi-autobiographical, with motion capture.
