Whilst trying to take a break from reality by visiting Mount Srđ nearby Dubrovnik, Ana and her boyfriend Ivan are accosted by Montenegrin paramilitary troops of the Yugoslav People's Army. Ivan is killed and Ana is brutally raped. Years later, whilst looking through the footage of the invasion of Dubrovnik recorded by an amateur reporter named Čačo, she recognizes her rapist, and decides to publicaly shame him during her exhibition.
