Ford's Mikko Hirvonen took the opening win, but this year was, once again, all about Citroen superstar Sebastien Loeb. He took an astonishing eight victories as well as an unprecendeted seventh World Championship, and, as ever, he did it in style, stunning fans worldwide with breathtaking car control and his phenomenal flair. Competition behind Loeb raged in the "best of the rest" battle. Jari-Matti Latvala emerged as Ford's strongest contender, with two wins on his way to the runner-up spot. Citroen's Sebastien Ogier firmly established himself as a star of the future with two amazing victories, while former champion Petter Solberg produced stunning drives to ensure he was always in the mix.

It was another season full of drama at Stamford Bridge, and although it didn't all go our way there were plenty of memories to savour. Whether it was Willian's set-piece perfection or Eden Hazard's late flurry of goals, the Blues provided glorious moments during a challenging campaign. Once again, London rivals Arsenal were beaten home and away while the second-half comeback against Tottenham will live long in the memory of any Chelsea fan. Additionally, further breakthroughs from a host of youngsters offered Blues fans glimpses of a bright future.

Lloyd Daniels was one of the most gifted basketball players ever to emerge from New York City. He was born in Brooklyn in 1967 and grew up in the poorest neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens. His mother died when he was three, and his father deserted the family, leaving Lloyd an orphan to be raised by his two grandmothers. Virtually unsupervised, Lloyd learned early-on how to hustle to survive. Hustling came easy for him because he was a charming and likable kid. He still hustles to this day.

The doc brings us back to a 1961 football game played in front of 40,000 people at the Orange Bowl. A high school football game, pitting Miami High against their rivals from Edison High. The title refers to the coaches of each, and the film follows them separately, with their real families and their clan of players, in the days leading up to the big event. And then at last it astonishingly chronicles the game from all kinds of angles you wouldn’t expect from even the newly mobile tools of the Drew crew. Today’s television coverage doesn’t come nearly as close to capturing the spirit of the sport and its fans the way Lipscomb does here. (Nothing But the Doc)
