Wim Helsen: Het helste van Helsen
2007 · Comedy
Wim Helsen is always witty, surprising, and pertinent: whether he is expressing his indignation as a good-natured soup distributor in 'Heden Soup!', preaching passion as a cunning demagogue in 'Bij mij zijt ge veilig', or championing better poetry as the Best Friend of Poetry in 'Man Bijt Hond'. Helsen mixes the best of cabaret, theater monologue, and poetry into a disarming individuality, bringing innovation and wonder to the stage.

A video-registration of the revue/cabaret show 'Showponies 2' by the Alex Klaasen Revue. In this sequel to the first Showponies-show, Alex Klaassen explores to what extent he cares about what (the still quite heteronormative) society thinks. Klaassen considers coming out for a second time, because he feels like he has ended up in a second closet after his first coming out.

Armed with many hilarious anecdotes, he immediately gets right to the point. With a sharp insight into his brown roots and the milky white roots of this society, he knows how to entertain the audience in his own unique way. The beautiful song "Ik mis je zo" (I miss you so much) and the antics of his ghetto cousin "Ongie" make this DVD complete.

Youp van 't Hek: Het zelfmoordcommando
2005 · ★ 9
Youp van 't Hek cheerfully flits between the following four questions: What are we willing to die for? How high will we rise in heaven? What does heaven have to offer us? Why is life on earth such hell for so many people? Youp doesn't give any real answers because he simply doesn't know them, but his jokes do lighten the mood.

Dolf Jansen: Oudejaars 2012
2012
A wise man once said 'if it does not fit, you have to push a little harder, then it often fits!' Another wise man once said 'every year deserves a New Year's Eve performance, and I'm going to make that performance !!' You understand, the latter wise man was Dolf Jansen, widely recognized as record holder for New Year's Eve performances of the Netherlands forever. Has he achieved something in his life ... In 2011, Dolf played his own performance and in between still the New Year's Eve, in close cooperation with Pauw & Witteman. In 2012, Dolf will play in specially selected theaters ... .. (roffel) ... Michael Van Peel: Van Peel overleeft 2017
2018
2017. The displeasure is cheerfully spreading. America is led by an angry guinea pig on an orange leather seat. Terror infests the old continent. But Belgians aren't fased anymore by this. Fear has become as banal as traffic jams, state reforms and grabbing politicians. Who cares? Time for a party!

Herman Finkers: EHBO Is Mijn Lust En Mijn Leven
1985 · ★ 6.2
First aid is my passion and my life. One traffic light turns red, another turns green: there's always something to do in Almelo. One of Herman Finkers' most famous quotes. Herman Finkers has been writing and performing theater programs since 1979. His programs are difficult to describe. He was probably best described in the Utrechts Nieuwsblad: 'master of the double punchline,' 'witty excess that does no harm,' 'sublime nonsense.' EHBO is my passion and my life is Herman Finkers' fourth program, recorded in the Leidse Schouwburg.
