The fire crews join other emergency personnel from Merseyside for a training exercise, and the opening of an airport gym sparks rivalry between staff ▶4. New BeginningsTwo best friends arrive at the airport for their annual break to Benidorm to celebrate St George's Day - although for one it will be a one-way trip as she is planning a new life in the sun. A mother and daughter are also flying out to Spain, for an international barbershop singing contest. Will they return with the top prize? New recruits are learning the ropes at the check-in, fire crews tackle an engine blaze out on the tarmac and after 15 years of service, temporary watch commander Emma is in line for promotion.
