The preparation has been mixed and many fans in Germany reject the “Desert World Cup” in the winter. Hansi Flick doesn’t want to have to talk about politics any more, but wants to get football enthusiasm going at home with his players. Does his plan succeed?

The captain’s armband37m · The opening match against Japan is coming up, but instead of talking about football, all eyes are on a piece of cloth: The scandal surrounding captain Manuel Neuer’s armband is dominating the headlines. How much do the discussions off the pitch affect the players? During the football match Germany loses 1-2 to Japan and finds itself once again with its back to the wall.
3. The goosebumps moment41m · Now the German team needs to win against Spain, of all teams, or they will be eliminated from the preliminary round. Behind the scenes, the analysis of mistakes is open and ruthless. The team spirit is right and confidence is returning. Niklas Füllkrug, who was only selected for the squad at the last minute, is causing goosebumps in the dressing room and on the pitch.
4. The end of all dreams35m · If the German team wants to progress into the last 16 on its own merits, a big win against Costa Rica in the last match is a must. But at half-time the score is only 1:0, and coach Hansi Flick shows his unusual side in his dressing room speech. But everything goes against him and his team in the second half. Soccer AM is a British Saturday-morning football-based comedy/talk show, predominantly based around the Premier League. Originally presented by Jane Hoffen, Gary Stevens and Russ Williams, they lasted just a year before Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy replaced them, where Lovejoy served for over a decade. He has since been replaced by Andy Goldstein and, more recently, Max Rushden. The show has been aired on Sky Sports 2 each Saturday morning of the football season since 1995 from 7:00am or 9:00am to noon originally and currently between 10:00am and 12:00pm. In early 2009, the 500th episode was broadcast. Although the show is filmed live from 2010 it has been broadcast on a momentary delay due to bad language and/or inappropriate content from certain guests. The show's current sponsor is Procter & Gamble through their Head & Shoulders brand. The show was previously sponsored by Frijj, a brand of milkshake, after Dairy Crest signed a £2 million sponsorship deal. Parts of the show have remained since the beginning, whilst new items have been introduced each season. In that respect, it is almost the same every week, the difference being new football footage and comedy skits. Every week sees a new group of celebrity guests, generally featuring at least one footballer who is free on the Saturday, and a mix of musicians, TV personalities, and other sportsmen.
