Estrella Contreras, a single mother struggling to raise her daughter Azul, finds herself having to return to her hometown after the fateful death of her father Ulises, where she meets Fabián Bravo, a widowed father and fisherman by profession who is fighting to regain custody of his teenage daughter Yazmin. Rojas shows Estrella the documents that her father signed and assures her that he will give her three months to pay off the debt.

Iker visits ‘Sirena’ in the hospital to give her the drawing he made of her, but finds out that she will be discharged and asks her father to take care of her. Estrella is willing to become the first female fisherman to support her family and thus pay Fabián every last peso.
