From 1979 to 1983, skateboarding went though its first “dark age”. Popularity plunged, and most skaters ditched the sport. Then came the first of the famous Bones Brigade videos by Powell Peralta. It was filmed at the beginning of the 1980's skateboard boom and intended to show new skaters what had been going on in the sport. The Bones Brigade Video Show is definitely old school, and definitely rad. Packed with low riding & sliding action, pink shirts, high shorts, and the top names in skateboarding at the time and even today. The soundtrack, filming, everything - this is one of the best.

Michael Schumacher’s early dominance threatened to conclude the championship before it had really begun. But once McLaren found their form first David Coulthard and then Mika Hakkinen challenged for the title. By the penultimate race in Japan, Schumacher only needed one more win to clinch the championship title for the third time. Bent on revenge, he trains like an animal and competes in smaller competitions, ultimately throwing his career-best 71.26 meters (233 feet, 9 inches). Proving to himself and the world that he is the greatest, Ricky's throw would have won the 1984 Olympics by nearly 5 meters.
